Electronics & Communication is leading the information revolution. Developments in multimedia applications, fiber optics, VLSI and Switching technologies are rapidly changing the way we live. To compete effectively in today's global market, professionals need to keep themselves informed of innovative advances in technologies that fundamentally affect the Communications industry. The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering of AIET, established in 2009 offering B.Tech degree with intake of 30 students. It is the mission of the department to strive for providing a technically advanced academic environment through acquiring well directed & honest effort. The department provides special emphasis on advanced communication systems, Microprocessor and Micro controllers, DSP and VLSI .Electronics and Communication Engineering has well equipped laboratories. It provides students with facilities ranging from elementary basic electronics circuit to latest trends in electronics and communication engineering. Computer and Signal Processing labs are equipped with research oriented software for design analysis and signal processing tools. Digital and Microprocessor lab allows students to have a hands-on experience working with microprocessor kits and also furnishes basic digital system design facilities. The department has labs that support practical in areas of Analog and Digital Communication, Microwave and Engineering. The major Laboratories are listed below. The passed out students of ECE department of will be well placed in various multinational companies such as : Honeywell, TCS, Wipro Technologies, Hexaware, Satyam, Tech Mahindra, Accenture etc.

A warm welcome to Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering! The Department was established in the year 2009 with the aim of providing leadership in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering with an intake of 30 students. We strive to train and empower our students who will make the world a better place by using power of engineering principles, techniques and systems.The significant infrastructural design, well-equipped laboratories & hi-tech computers with high-speed internet facility with all qualified faculty members ensure world-class standard of education delivered from our department. Electronics and communication engineering is a dynamic and exciting area that provides excellent career opportunities in various areas of technology. The department faculties are committed to teach our students the fundamental concepts and the latest trends via smart teaching and learning process. The students are also taught with critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they accommodate their future with confidence. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to practically implement the principles learnt in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories and through innovation centers on Robotics and Internet of Things. The students can include them under different type of club like Circuit Design, Music, Arts, and Sports etc. The Department provides healthy environment to students and faculties to carry out inter department collaborative research in area like VLSI Design, internet of things, robotics, etc. Students are provided internship facility in organizations like BSNL, DRDO, and ECIL etc. The department conducts various workshops, expert talks and additional training programs on recent trends in Electronics and Communication Engineering in collaboration with industries for the benefit of faculty and students. The student projects are conducted in-house with the guidance of department faculty and industrial trainers. Having undergone such a robust academic Programme under the supervision of highest quality faculty members, I am sure that all passing out students of the department are capable of visualizing, planning and developing big projects of commercial and research interests in their respective field of expertise. The graduates of the Electronics and Communication Stream have been selected by some of the leading software and hardware companies of the country. The available diversity of expertise of the faculty with the support of the Management, Director and Principal we prepare the students to work in global multicultural environment.
