Blood Donation Camp at Aryan on 16.04.2012

"Donate blood Donate life" keeping this in mind, On 16th April, 2012 a blood donation camp by Rotaract Club of Aryan was organised at Aryan Institute of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with Red Cross Blood Bank, BMC, Hospital, BBSR and Capital Hospital, BBSR. The blood donation camp was organised on the eve of World Health week. This blood donation camp was inaugurated with the lighting of candles. Eminent persons like Rtr.Umakanta Sharma, the District Governor R.I.D. Dist- 3260; Rtn. B. K. Sharma, President Rotary Club of BBSR;Rtr .A.K. Dutta; Rtr. Nibedita Swain and Principal,Aryan Institute of Engineering and TechnologyProf. (Dr.) S. Swain were present in this occasion. Dr. Debasis Mishra (Capital Hospital)and Dr. RakhalBehera( BMC Hospital)extended their fullest cooperation to make the camp a success.Around 200 students and staff participated in the Programme and donated blood for a noble cause. This camp was a success as 200 units of blood were collected.All donors were given refreshment, certificates of appreciation, and blood-donor card. Under the guidance ofPrincipal Dr. Satyananda Swain our faculty members Dr. RatnapravaParija and Mr.AmiyaSahoo took the pain to make it a grand success. All the members of Rotaract club of Aryan showed great initiative, enthusiasm & leadership in this noble activity.
