Now a days if any branch of engineering has posed multifaceted challenges and an equal degree of extensive research it is computer science and engineering. In the era of information technology, computer science is the most preferred career Now Computer Science is the epicenter of all other branches, including the world of entertainment and multimedia. The curriculum provides deep insight into software and hardware concepts.

Rigorous training equips the studenttoadapttotheeverchangingtechnology.The department has three laboratories equipped with 200 computers.Out of three two are networking and computer organization laboratories equipped with different type of trainer kits and networking equipment. All laboratories are connected to the networking environment with twolatest servers. OS engine, true 64 Unix with unlimited user license is quite powerful and includes unlimited license for C, C++ and various multimedia products. One laboratory is equipped with multimedia tools and advanced computing resources for research and project activities. Software application packages like Visual Studio, ORACLE 10g, SQL SERVER, MATLAB-7 and various multimedia tools along with programming suits like C, C++ and JAVA are made available to all students and staff. It is equipped with both hardware and software facilities consisting of Basic Programming Lab, Advanced Computer Lab Internet and Server.Further 10 MBPS leased internet access facility has been provided through BSNL.

Through lease line facility all students and staff members get internet services for 24 hours. Wi-Fi facility for internet access is also provided to staff and students inside the institute premises and hostels. The Department has highly qualified faculty membersAll are totally dedicated to render best possible help to the students in an interactive manner. Sincere efforts have yielded fruitful results. The curriculum places equal emphasis on theory, practice and experimental Computer Science and Engineering, ranging across the entire spectrum of Computer Science. The Faculties are encouraged to carry out Research and Development activities and some pursue higher studies including Ph.Ds.Seminars on different advanced areas of Computer Science are conducted by corporate professionals and research guides from across the globe. We have IBM COE (Centre of Excellence) to expose the students to advanced technology and to prepare them for corporate work.
