Department of Basic Science & Humanities 

AIET has a robust Basic Science
and Humanities department with excellent infrastructure facilities and its laboratories are fully equipped with all equipment for experiment beyond the BPUT prescribed guidelines and syllabus. All labs except chemistry and workshop are fully air conditioned. There is a provision for each student to do the experiment independently.

The need for reading basic sciences in the engineering courses is emphasized and focused which prepares the student for higher courses in main stream engineering.

The department includes Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, Mathematics, Applied Psychology, Management, Engineering Economics, Business and Communication English & Professional Writing apart from preparing the students pursuing higher courses .The department plays a major role creating in students an appreciation for the fundamentals in Basic Science and Humanities. The Basic science and Humanities cover around 37% of the total credit and common tool of all branches of engineering.

Department of Civil Engineering 

The department of Civil Engineering ensures that the students have the opportunity to work with latest equipment both in the laboratories and while on project with various construction companies in and around the city. We have faculty having specialization in Structural Engineering.

Department of Mechanical Engineering 

The department of Mechanical engineering has faculty specialized in the fields of Machine Design & Thermal Engineering. The Mechanical Workshop has various types of lathes, milling, drilling, shaping and grinding   machines. The welding shop consists of Gas welding, Arc welding and Gas-Tungsten Arc welding equipment. The Material testing Laboratory is equipped with UTM(Universal Testing Machine) machines etc.
