INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING UP PART B OF THE PBAS PROFORMA

PBAS (PERFORMANCE BASED APPRAISAL SYSTEM)

Part B of the Performa is based on the table provided below. It is to be filled out for the recently completed academic year/semester.

The Performa is to be filled as per these tables and self-assessment scores given. For each category, maximum scores that can be given or carried forward are indicated in the Table.

The self-assessment scores are further to be based on the indicators/activities given below.

NB. The self-assessment scores are subject to verification by the college , and by the Screening cum Verification Committee or Selection Committee as the case may be.



I.A. Lectures, Tutorials, Practical’s, Seminars, Contact classes taken should be based on verifiable records. If a faculty has taken 100% assigned classes, score will be 50 90% and less than 95% assigned classes, score will be 40 80% and less than 90% assigned classes, score will be 30 No score should be assigned if a teacher has taken less than 80% assigned classes. Max Score : 50


I.B. If the teacher has taken classes exceeding Institute norms, then one point to be assigned for each 5 hour classes

STUDENT’s FEEDBACK
The student’s feedback assessment data (on the basis of the Assessment of Institutional Student Feedback System) will be supplied to the respective teachers during filling up the PBAS.
If the feedback is above 95%, score will be 5
90% and less than 95%, score will be 4
85% and less than 90%, score will be 3
80% and less than 85%, score will be 2
75% and less than 80%, score will be 1
No score should be assigned if the feedback is less than 75%
