  • The Need of Rain Water Harvesting

    •A seminar at the Institute was held on 7thAugust 2010. Prof(Dr.) S. Swain, Principal gave a lucid presentation on” Rain Water Harvesting” using the power point presentation.

    •Prof. Swain focused on the urgent need of rain water harvesting in and around Bhubaneswar as the level of underground water is fast depleting.

    •The presentation was both educative and useful and received well by one and all.

  • Thin-Client Server Networks on FOSS

    • On 29th july 2010, a seminar programme has been held at the Communicative English laboratory of the institute, where all the faculty members were present.
    • Ms Soumyarashmi Panigrahi, Asst Prof. of CSE presented a power point presentation on "Thin Client System" and Ms Sweta Acharya, Asst Prof. of CSE presented a power point presentation on "Free and Open Source Software" .
    • The entire session was interactive and interesting.

  • Role of Technocrats in Social/Rural Development

    • The Principal Prof(Dr.) S Swain gave a highly illuminating power point presentation on “Role of Technocrats in Social/Rural Development” in a seminar held at AIET on Aug 21, 2010.
    • During the presentation Prof. S Swain focused on the contribution of the past and present luminaries of India in shaping India’s destiny.
    • It was quite educative and relevant to the need of the hour.
