1. Department Overview
The Civil Engineering Departmentbecame operational in the year 2009 since inception of AIET with strength of 60/60/30 of seat in Diploma, Degree and Post Graduation level, respectively. Admission is being taken up through OJEE/JEE/ Odisha DET as per guide line of AICTE/BPUT/SCTE&VT, Govt .of Odisha. The department has taken multiple initiatives to bridge the gap between industry and academia by conducting several Conferences, Symposiums, Workshops, Seminars etc. It has its own Skill Development Centre which has significantly contributed for the development of engineering and technology innovations in concrete structures, pavements and water resource management. Currently Department of Civil Engineering is enriched with scholar faculties. They not only contribute their knowledge to build vibrant academics, but also utilize their skills and field experiences to apply the engineering knowledge to solve real life research problems. The Departments consultancy center is a mile stone of Quality Infrastructure and staff in first among its equals.

To create a culture of innovation, that could enable both students and faculty members collaborative approach in achieving the cutting thread technology in the domain of civil engineering, like acquiring cement which releases less energy and CO2thereby reducing the depletion of the ozone layer and developing effective methodologies in augmenting the natural resources like water and environment friendly solutions towards solving the issues relating to the present and future generations.
