The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) was established to foster expertise in entrepreneurship development. With a global shortage of jobs in both the public and private sectors, resulting in unemployment and underutilization of human resources, the cell aims to identify and encourage talented individuals to pursue entrepreneurial ventures. To achieve this, it plans to conduct various programs focused on entrepreneurship development.
Objectives of the Cell
- To create awareness among the students of the Institution regarding entrepreneurship as a career option.
- To conduct training programmes in the field of entrepreneurial skill development.
- To develop entrepreneurship-related course curriculum to incorporate in engineering programmes.
- To provide guidance and facilities to first-time entrepreneurs during gestation.
- To organize guest lectures and workshops.
- To encourage student-industry interaction.
