Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Committee
The Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) committee is constituted for protecting the Scientific and Engineering Research in the Institute.
Objectives
- To educate faculty members and students about benefits of IPR.
- To assess the invention disclosures received from inventors and recommend proposals for IP filing.
- To facilitate the inventors in developing their inventions/ideas into a practical implementation fit for seeking IP protection.
- Organizing informative lectures on IPR for educating faculty/students/supporting staff/project staff/inventors.
- Facilitate IP owners in the monetization of their IPRs as well as in seeking funding opportunities.
- Any other activity which the Committee deems fit so as to promote IPR creation and promotion in the institute.
