Today's dynamic corporate scenarios seek recruits who have both these skills in equal measure. Increasingly recognized by recruiters for its abundant talent pool and excellent facilities, ARYAN’s placement process aims to match the requirements of recruiters and the aspirations of students also.

It also acts as a liaison between the Industrial Houses and AIET; organizes talks, seminars and workshops and conducts programs like summer training and campus connect. These programs are conducted with a view to understand & assess the needs of the industry to suitably match those with our own graduates. Our students are well-groomed by a strong pre-placement process which is an integral part of the undergraduate curriculum.

The Training and Placement Cell (T&P) was started in January 2006. The Training and Placement Officers who are assisted by student representatives from all the departments heads this unit. The Management of the institution and all other faculty members have extended their wholehearted support to the functioning of the unit.

The Training & Placement Cell is committed to provide all possible assistance to its graduates and post-graduates in their efforts to find employment. This commitment is demonstrated by the existence of a full-time Placement Team. The benefits of this assistance are reflected in the preparation of AIET students who are able to esteemed positions in corporate during recent years.

The Training & placement service operates year round to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. Staff are available to respond to students' queries and concerns of all kinds. This may include career counseling,advice and procedure and help with preparation of applications and resumes, and practice for interviews. The aim is to ensure that students have the information and skills necessary for an effective job search.

Those considering careers in education or its related fields are offered detailed career guidance at the Training & Placement Cell. All advice is based on up-to-date placement statistics and an envisioned view of future educational and industrial trends.

The T&P forms the backbone for the career growth of the students of AIET. The career counseling provided by the T&P helps the students to give a direction to their aspirations and interests.

The various career guidance activities undertaken by the T&P are:

Information regarding GMAT, GATE, CAT and other entrance exams are made available to the students. Coaching for the preparation for these exams is provided and the students who qualify the written exams are given mock interviews and intensive training sessions. They are also given counseling on the fields and colleges they can apply to by the ARYAN Alumni who have already proved their mettle.

The students are advised on the various avenues they can explore based on their areas of interest - be it in the research field, software development or core engineering fields. Recruitment to various research posts and the like are notified to interested students. Required coaching for the same is provided.

To motivate students to take the plunge into entrepreneurship, training classes are organized. Budding entrepreneurs are given guidance to further their career and start off on their own. In the present scenario, students have now taken flight with entrepreneur ventures. Companies have now started providing job opportunities to other students.

Career counseling programs are undertaken by the placement coordinator to guide the students when ever required. Interactive sessions by the leaders in respective fields are conducted regularly. This keeps the students in touch with the latest developments in their field of choice, thereby bringing them at par with the best brains of the country.

Various talks, symposiums and workshops by eminent personalities are conducted on a regular basis which exposes the students to various career opportunities. The T&P helps in the enhancement of technical and soft skills of the students.

Personality development programs, mock interviews and mock GD sessions are conducted to enhance the communication skills of the students and to make them proficient in appearing for the same.
